Investigating The Effect of Spiritual and Ethical Leadership on Task Performance, Knowledge Sharing Behaviors, and Innovative Behaviors of Employees (Case Study: Tehran Customs General Office)

Abstract
Objective: The main purpose of the present study is to investigate the effect of spiritual and ethical leadership on task performance, knowledge sharing behaviors, and innovative behaviors of employees in  the Tehran Customs General Office. 
Method: This research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-survey in terms of method. The statistical population of the present study is the Tehran Customs Department. In this study, G*Power software was used to determine the sample size. Based on the results of this software, the sample size was determined to be 201 people. 250 questionnaires were distributed among the employees of the Tehran Customs Department, of which 218 acceptable questionnaires were received for analysis. Therefore, the questionnaire return rate is 87.2%. Simple random sampling method was used to select the samples. SPSS26 software and Smart-PLS3 software were used to analyze the data.
Results: The findings showed that "spiritual leadership" has a positive and significant effect on "employee task performance", "employee knowledge sharing behaviors" and "employee innovative behaviors". Also, "ethical leadership" has a positive and significant effect on "employee task performance", "employee knowledge sharing behaviors" and "employee innovative behaviors".
Conclusions: The results of the study emphasize that implementing spiritual and ethical leadership can help improve employee efficiency and creativity, and ultimately lead to improving the overall performance of the Tehran Customs General Office. Therefore, paying attention to this type of leadership in management processes and human resource development can be an effective solution to improve organizational performance.
